About GuQingHe Video Publisher
GuQingHe Video Publisher is an automated content publishing system that bridges the gap between content creation and distribution on TikTok. Built specifically for creator GuQingHe (顾清禾), this tool streamlines the entire video publishing workflow from content management to live posting.
The system is designed to handle the complete lifecycle of short-form video content: from initial upload and metadata management in Feishu/Lark Base, through automated quality checks, to final publication on TikTok via the official Content Posting API.
TikTok API Integration
This application integrates with TikTok's official developer platform using the following products and scopes:
- Login Kit — OAuth 2.0 authentication for secure account authorization. The creator manually authorizes the application through TikTok's standard OAuth flow.
- Content Posting API (Direct Post) — Enables direct uploading and publishing of video content to the creator's TikTok profile. Supports setting titles, descriptions, and privacy levels.
Scopes used:
- user.info.basic — Read basic user profile information (open ID, avatar, display name)
- video.publish — Publish video content to TikTok
- video.upload — Upload video files to TikTok's servers
Technical Architecture
The system uses a modern event-driven architecture with the following components:
- Data Source: Feishu/Lark Base (multi-dimensional spreadsheet for content and metadata management)
- Trigger: Feishu Automation (detects status changes and initiates publishing workflows)
- Orchestration Engine: n8n workflow automation (handles the end-to-end API call sequence)
- Publishing API: TikTok Content Posting API with Direct Post mode
- Hosting: Cloudflare Workers (this website) + Cloudflare DNS
The workflow follows a 3-step TikTok upload process: initialize upload → transfer video binary → poll for completion status. All API calls are handled within a single orchestration node to ensure data integrity.
Privacy & Data Handling
The creator manually authorizes and controls all publishing actions. No user data from third parties is collected or stored. The only data processed is the OAuth access token required for TikTok API calls, which is stored securely and used solely for video publishing.
